Dr. Hamed Ghoddusi is an Assistant Professor of Finance at the School of Business, Stevens Institute of Technology. Before joining Stevens he was a Postdoctoral Associate of Engineering System Division (ESD), Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
He received his PhD in 2011 from Vienna Graduate School of Finance (VGSF). His current research is mainly focused on Energy and Resource Economics, Macro Asset Pricing, and Society-Centered Financial Innovation.
Often times we encounter projects that seem impossible to be financed. These ideas/projects could range from identifying a proper business model for a tech start-up to a very important public project. Dr. Ghoddusi has chosen a well known national environmental challenge: “Revival of Lake Urmia” to show us the effectiveness of innovative financial and engineering solutions to tackle the most challenging financing questions.
